Chapel Staff
We have a leadership team that encompasses not only a paid pastor but also other staff who serve in various roles. Leaders are called to mobilize and motivate people for the mission, modeling loving servanthood along the way.
Two practical implications of our leadership philosophy are:
Leaders do not do all the ministry but see to it that all the ministry gets done. Pastors have some unique functions, but the same status as everyone else.
Leadership Roles of Chapel of the Cross
Elders support the church as servant-leaders and guardians of its mission and vision. Our leaders are both volunteers and paid staff who administrate programs, shepherd small groups, and mobilize and motivate people for the mission. Our members are all people who not only attend our worship services but help fulfill our mission.
